The growth of new digital broadcasting platforms has been highlighted this month, by the publication of research from the Government’s communications regulator, Ofcom, indicating that 87.2 per cent of UK households now have a digital television as their main set. The radio audience research organisation, RAJAR, has also reported that 9.4 million people now listen to the radio via the internet each week.
